Mary Price Lee

Mary Lee was an Irish-Australian suffragist and social reformer who became a leading advocate for women’s rights in South Australia. She helped found the Women’s Suffrage League, campaigned for equal education and political rights for women, and played a major role in South Australia becoming the first Australian colony to grant women the vote in 1894.
