Mary Luckhurst

Mary Luckhurst is a British academic, author, theatre practitioner, playwright, dramaturg, director, and actor trainer. She has served as Professor of Modern Drama at the University of York and is currently the Head of the School of Arts at the University of Bristol, the first woman to hold the position. Her notable works include Dramaturgy: A Revolution in Theatre (2006) and editing A Companion to Modern British and Irish Drama 1880–2005.
