Mary Kay Phelan

Mary Kay Phelan was an American author born in 1914, specializing in children's non-fiction. She wrote books for young readers, including 'The White House' (1962) and 'Martha Berry' (1972), a biography of the educator who founded schools for poor Appalachian children in Georgia. Her works also covered historical topics such as the Erie Canal.
