Mary J Nichols

Mary Nichols was a British author born in 1931 in Singapore to a Dutch-South African father and an English mother, moving to England at age three where she developed a passion for writing. She worked as a radiographer, school secretary, editor, and information services manager before publishing her first novel, 'End of Queen Street,' in 1981, and became known for historical romances, Regency romances, contemporary novels, and family sagas for Mills & Boon. She also wrote 'The Mother of Necton,' a biography of her grandmother, and passed away in 2016.
