Mary Dedecker

Mary Caroline Foster DeDecker (1909–2000) was an American botanist, conservationist, and environmentalist best known as the founder of the Bristlecone Chapter of the California Native Plant Society. She discovered several new plant species, published on the flora of eastern California, and was an active advocate for conservation in the Owens Valley and eastern Sierra region.
