Mary Daheim

Mary Daheim (Mary Rene Richardson Daheim) was an American author born in Seattle, Washington, known for her romance novels and mystery series including the Bed-and-Breakfast series featuring Judith and Renie, and the Emma Lord Alpine series.[1][2][3] She began writing at a young age, graduated from the University of Washington where she was the first non-wartime female editor of the Daily, and published over 60 books after working in journalism and public relations.[2][4] Daheim received awards like the 2000 Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Achievement Award and continued writing until her death in 2022.[2][4]
