Marvin Kitman

Marvin Kitman was an acclaimed American humorist, satirist, and television critic, best known for his 35-year tenure as TV critic at New York Newsday, where he was a Pulitzer Prize finalist in criticism, and for authoring eight books including 'Gullible’s Travels: A Comical History of the Trump Era' (2020).[1][2][5][6] Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Brooklyn after his family moved there in the 1930s, he graduated from Brooklyn Tech High School in 1947 and City College of New York.[1][2][3][4] He wrote a nationally syndicated column chronicling television and culture for 30 years, received awards from the Society of the Silurians, and ran for U.S. president in 1964 as a satirical candidate for Monocle magazine.[1][5]
