Martin Gardner
Martin Gardner was an American writer and popularizer of mathematics and science, best known for his long-running 'Mathematical Games' column in *Scientific American* and for bringing puzzles and recreational mathematics to a broad audience. He was also a prominent skeptic who wrote influential works challenging pseudoscience and remained active as a writer well into his nineties.
