Martha Novak Clinkscale

Martha Novak Clinkscale (1933-2010) was an American musicologist and professor of piano performance trained at the University of Louisville, Yale University, and other institutions. She is best known for her scholarly work on piano history and construction, particularly her comprehensive study 'Makers of the Piano, 1700-1820' published by Oxford University Press in 1993.
