Marshall D. Wright

Marshall D. Wright is a baseball historian specializing in the statistics and history of 19th-century and minor league baseball. Born on November 12, 1956, in Geneva, Illinois, he earned a B.A. from Principia College in 1979 and an M.A. from University of Central Arkansas in 1982, and has authored books such as 'Nineteenth-Century Baseball: Year-by-Year Statistics for the Major League Teams, 1871 through 1900' and 'The National Association of Base Ball Players, 1857-1870'. He worked as a research archivist for the Christian Science Church and later as a sports statistician, residing in Quincy, Massachusetts.[1][2][3]
