Marshall Berman

Marshall Berman (1940–2013) was an American philosopher, writer, and Marxist humanist best known for his work on modernity, urban life, and political philosophy. He taught at the City College of New York and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and his major works include 'All That Is Solid Melts into Air.'
