Marni Fylling

Marni Fylling is a science illustrator, writer, and educator enchanted by the natural world since childhood, inspired by her urban backyard and her father's biology textbook. She earned a bachelor's degree in zoology with a minor in English literature from UC Davis and a master's certificate in natural science illustration from UC Santa Cruz. She has authored and illustrated books including Fylling’s Illustrated Guide to Pacific Coast Tide Pools and Fylling’s Illustrated Guide to Nature in Your Neighborhood, and enjoys exploring tide pools, sketching insects, and wildflowers.[1][2]
