Marlon Green
Marlon DeWitt Green (1929–2009) was an African-American pilot whose landmark 1963 Supreme Court decision helped dismantle racial discrimination in the American passenger airline industry. Born in El Dorado, Arkansas, Green served as a U.S. Air Force pilot before breaking the airline industry color barrier when Continental Airlines was required to hire him. He is often called the 'Jackie Robinson of the airline industry' for his pioneering role in integrating commercial aviation.
