Marla Runyan
Marla Lee Runyan (born January 4, 1969) is an American track and field athlete, marathon runner, cyclist, author, and educator who is legally blind. She was the first legally blind athlete to compete in the Olympics and remains the only American to have competed in both the Olympics and Paralympics[1][3]. Runyan is a six-time Paralympic medalist, two-time Olympian, and was inducted into the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame in 2025[1][3].
