Mark Willner

Mark Willner is a veteran educator who grew up in Parkchester, Bronx, attended NYU Law School, but chose teaching over law amid the Vietnam War draft, joining the National Guard. He taught at Morris High School, served as Social Studies chairman at Midwood High School for 32 years, authored a world history textbook including 'Global History and Geography,' and has taught Jewish history and the Holocaust at Temple Emanu-El since 1965.
