Mark Richard Zubro

Mark Richard Zubro is an American mystery novelist known for his bestselling, fast-paced mysteries set in Chicago and Cook County, which feature gay themes and well-rounded characters. He lives in Mokena, Illinois, taught 8th grade English at Summit Hill Jr. High, and has written twenty-four mystery novels and five short stories. Zubro is himself gay and has received the Lambda Award for Gay Men's Mystery for his novel A Simple Suburban Murder.
