Mark Ravenhill

Mark Ravenhill (born 7 June 1966) is an English playwright, actor, and journalist, widely recognized as one of the most performed British playwrights of the late 20th and 21st centuries. He gained prominence with his provocative play Shopping and Fucking in 1996, followed by works like Some Explicit Polaroids (1999) and Mother Clap's Molly House (2001), often exploring contemporary society through visceral themes. Ravenhill studied English and Drama at Bristol University (1984-1987), has worked as a director and journalist, and serves as co-artistic director of the King’s Head Theatre.[1][3][4][8]
