Mark Peters

Mark Peters is a photographer and author who has spent over ten years documenting the lives of rescued cows at farmed animal sanctuaries through fine art portraits and personal stories. He is the author of 'Voices of the Herd: Portraits of Rescued Cows and Their Sanctuary Stories,' published by Lantern Publishing & Media in October 2025. Peters lives in Maryland with his wife Alisa and their two dogs.[1]
