Mark McGarrity
Mark McGarrity (1943–2002) was an American writer and outdoors columnist for The Star-Ledger of Newark who wrote mysteries under the pen name Bartholomew Gill. He is best known for his series featuring Peter McGarr, a witty and shrewd Irish homicide detective, authoring more than a dozen novels in the series. McGarrity also wrote five novels and several nonfiction works under his real name.
