Mark D. Weist

Mark D. Weist, Ph.D., is a professor of clinical-community and school psychology at the University of South Carolina and a clinical psychologist who received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 1991. He edited nine books and published extensively in school mental health, positive behavioral interventions, trauma, violence and youth, evidence-based practice, and cognitive behavioral therapy[4]. He previously spent 19 years on the faculty at the University of Maryland, where he founded and directed the Center for School Mental Health[4].
