Mark Boatner

Mark Mayo Boatner III (1921–2006) was an American soldier, military historian, and author. A West Point graduate, he served in World War II and the Korean War, later teaching military history at West Point and writing reference works such as The Civil War Dictionary and the Encyclopedia of the American Revolution.
