Mark A. Weiss

Mark Allen Weiss is a Distinguished University Professor in the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences and Vice Dean of the College of Engineering and Computing at Florida International University. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Cooper Union in 1983 and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University in 1987 under Bob Sedgewick. Weiss is a prolific author of textbooks on data structures, algorithms, and computer science topics, widely used in undergraduate education.
