Marius Vachon

Marius Vachon (1850–1928) was a French historian and art critic known for his work on the Renaissance, industrial arts, and the destruction of art during the wars of 1870 and World War I. He served as a general inspector of the Ministry of Public Instruction and Fine Arts and was the conservator of the Museum of Art and Industry in Saint-Étienne.
