Marie Rutkoski
Marie K. Rutkoski, born March 5, 1977, in Hinsdale, Illinois, is an American New York Times bestselling author of children's, young adult, and adult fiction, including the Winner's Trilogy, Kronos Chronicles, and the crime novel Real Easy. She holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and M.A./Ph.D. in English from Harvard University, specializing in Renaissance literature and Shakespeare. Since 2007, she has been a professor of English at Brooklyn College.
