Marie Powell
Marie Powell is a Canadian author born in Moose Jaw, known for her historical fantasy novels such as Spirit Sight and Water Sight, part of the Last of the Gifted series, inspired by her family roots and castle explorations. She has authored 40 traditionally published children's books, along with award-winning short stories and poetry, and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from UBC. Powell works as a professional editor, photographer, journalist, travel writer, and workshop leader.[1][2][3][5][6]
