Marianne Novy

Marianne Novy is Professor Emerita of English and Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at the University of Pittsburgh, where she joined the English Department in 1971. Her work focuses on Shakespeare, gender relations, women’s studies, and adoption, and she is the author of books such as *Adoption Memoirs: Inside Stories* and *Love’s Argument: Gender Relations in Shakespeare*.
