Mariana Ruiz Johnson

Mariana Ruiz Johnson is an award-winning Argentinian children's book author and illustrator known for exploring the narrative power of illustration in picture books ranging from baby books to graphic novels.[1][4][5] She has created over a dozen picture books, including I Know a Bear, While You Are Sleeping, Run, Little Chaski!, and Luna Ranchera, and has won international awards such as the Compostela Illustrated Album Award and the Silent Book Contest.[2][5] She lives on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Argentina, with her husband and two children.[6]
