Maria Hocking

Mary Hocking (1921–2014) was a British novelist who published 24 novels between 1961 and 1996. Born in London and educated at Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls in Acton, she is best known for works such as The Winter City, The Mind has Mountains, and Good Daughters.
