Maria Dismondy

Maria Dismondy is an award-winning children's book author, founder and CEO of Cardinal Rule Press, and public speaker who draws inspiration from her childhood experiences, such as being teased for her curly hair and unique lunch of spaghetti in a hot dog bun.[2][5] Born and raised in a Detroit, Michigan suburb, she transitioned from a decade of teaching to writing ten books on themes like anti-bullying, friendship, and overcoming adversity after her debut 'Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun.'[2][5] She lives in southeast Michigan with her husband, three children, and two pet snails, empowering children worldwide through her stories, speaking, and publishing.[2][4]
