Margaret Ray

Margret Rey was a German-born American writer and illustrator best known as one half of the husband-and-wife team that created the *Curious George* children's book series. Born in Hamburg, she studied art at the Bauhaus School, later moved to Brazil and then the United States, and died in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1996.[1][6]
