Margaret J. Pitts
Margaret J. Pitts is an Associate Professor of Communication at the University of Arizona and Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the Graduate College.[2][3] She earned her PhD in Communication Arts and Sciences from Pennsylvania State University in 2005 and specializes in qualitative research methods exploring positive communication in interpersonal, intercultural, and aging contexts.[3] With over 50 publications, she has developed an established research program examining communication during times of transition, including her current work on the Grounded Model of Communication Savoring.[3]
