Margaret Frith

Margaret Frith was a retired president and CEO of the Putnam Publishing Children's Book Group and a respected editor and author in the New York publishing world. She authored numerous children's books, including several titles in the Who Was? series such as Who Was Thomas Alva Edison?, Who Was Louis Braille?, Who Was Franklin Roosevelt?, and Who Was Woodrow Wilson?. She lived in New York City and was considered one of the most respected figures in children's publishing.
