Marc Treib
Marc Treib is Professor Emeritus of Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, and a prominent historian and critic of landscape architecture and architecture.[1][2] He has published extensively on modern and historical subjects in the United States, Japan, Scandinavia, and beyond, with notable books including Modern Landscape Architecture: A Critical Review, The Architecture of Landscapes, 1940–1960, A Guide to the Gardens of Kyoto, and recent works like Noguchi’s Gardens: Landscape as Sculpture (2024).[1][2][4]
