Maochun Yu

Maochun “Miles” Yu is a historian and China policy specialist who serves as Professor of East Asia and Military History at the U.S. Naval Academy. He has also held roles as Director of the China Center at the Hudson Institute and as a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution, with research focusing on Chinese military and strategic culture, U.S.-China relations, and diplomatic history.
