Nicholas Gregory 'Greg' Mankiw is an American macroeconomist and the Robert M. Beren Professor of Economics at Harvard University, renowned for his work on New Keynesian economics and for authoring widely used textbooks like 'Principles of Economics' and 'Macroeconomics'. He served as Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President George W. Bush from 2003 to 2005 and is considered one of the world's leading economists in the field of macroeconomics.
