Mamoru Nagano

Mamoru Nagano is a Japanese manga artist, animator, and mechanical designer born on January 21, 1960, in Maizuru, Kyoto Prefecture, renowned for his intricate mecha designs in series like Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and his ongoing manga The Five Star Stories.[1][2][3] He joined Sunrise in 1983, gained prominence with Heavy Metal L-Gaim in 1984, and has contributed to various anime including Gundam projects and Tekken character outfits.[2][4] In 2012, he directed and scripted the animated film Gothicmade, and he married voice actress Maria Kawamura in 1991.[2][3]
