Malcolm Clark

Malcolm Hamilton Clark, Jr. was born in Portland, Oregon, in 1917 and dropped out of college to pursue a writing career, publishing short stories in pulp magazines during the 1940s under pseudonyms. He authored 'Eden Seekers: The Settlement of Oregon, 1818-1862' and edited 'Pharisee Among Philistines: The Diary of Judge Matthew P. Deady,' focusing on Oregon history. Clark worked in a law office in Portland during the 1950s, remarried in 1984, and died in 1989.
