Malcolm Cairns

Malcolm David Cairns Donaldson was a pioneering paediatric endocrinologist born in 1949, who earned his medical degree from Bristol University in 1973 and developed the endocrine service in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.[1] He served as a Senior Lecturer in Child Health at the University of Glasgow from 1989 and as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow after retiring in 2012, passing away in September 2024.[1]
