Malaika Rose Stanley

Malaika Rose Stanley (1954–2019) was a pioneering British children's author, educator, and activist born in Birmingham, known for her picture books and pre-teen fiction published by Tamarind/Random House. She worked as a teacher in multiple countries including Zambia and Uganda, and later served as a Royal Literary Fund Fellow while running creativity workshops for children and adults.
