Maide Bucolo

Maide Angela Rita Bucolo is an Italian academic born on December 1, 1972, in Catania, Italy. She earned her M.S. in Computer Science Engineering in 1997 and Ph.D. in Electronic and Control Engineering in 2001 from the University of Catania, and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Automatica at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering there. Her research focuses on control systems, computational neuroscience, microfluidics, and low-cost methodologies for modeling and controlling bio-microfluidic systems.[1][2][3][4]
