Maggie Schauer
Maggie Schauer is a German clinical psychologist and psychotraumatologist known for developing Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) alongside Frank Neuner and Thomas Elbert. Her research focuses on the psychological consequences of violence, torture, and organized crime, with a particular emphasis on refugees and survivors of extreme stress. She works at the University of Konstanz in Germany.
