Maggie Nelson

Maggie Nelson (born 1973) is an American writer known for her genre-defying works blending autobiography, poetry, art criticism, feminist theory, and queer studies. She gained prominence with books like The Argonauts (2015), a work of autotheory that earned her a MacArthur Fellowship in 2016, and has taught creative writing at institutions including USC and CalArts.
