Maggie Mayhew

Margaret Mayhew was born in London in 1936, within the sound of Bow Bells, with her earliest memories of the German Blitz during World War II. She began writing short stories and novels in her mid-thirties, with her first novel published in 1976, and has authored over a dozen works often set in the Second World War era, including a series of village detective mysteries featuring a retired army Colonel. She is married to American aviation author Philip Kaplan and lives in Gloucestershire, England.
