Maggie Carol Burk

Margaret (Maggie) Burk, also known as Maggie Carol Burk, is a conductor, composer, vocalist, and author committed to the transformative power of choral music. A native of Lawrence, Kansas, she serves as Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she directs the Carthage Choir and other ensembles, teaches conducting and music education, and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in choral conducting from the University of Michigan. She is also an active church musician and composer of works like 'This Holy Hour: A Sequence of Carols for Christmas,' and authored the book 'Station Games: Fun and Imaginative PE Lessons.'
