Madeline Valentine

Madeline Valentine is an illustrator, writer, and educator who has illustrated over 10 picture books for publishers including Knopf, Candlewick, and Simon & Schuster. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York, earned a BFA from Pratt Institute in 2007, and received an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis in 2021. She lectures at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Art at Washington University in St. Louis and St. Charles Community College, and was previously an instructor at Pratt Institute.
