M. Whitney Kelting

M. Whitney Kelting is an associate professor of religious studies at Northeastern University, specializing in Jain studies, gender, and cultural aspects of religion.[1][2] She earned her B.A. from Colby College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in South Asian Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.[1] Kelting is the author of 'Singing to the Jinas' (Oxford University Press, 2001) and 'Heroic Wives' (Oxford University Press, 2009), with current research on Jain masculinity, donation, motherhood, and temple patronage.[1][2][3]
