M. Reu
Johann Michael Reu (1869–1943) was a German-American Lutheran theologian, author, and educator. Born in Diebach, Germany, he studied for the ministry in Bavaria before moving to the United States in 1889, where he served as a pastor and then spent more than four decades teaching at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. He was a prolific writer and influential church educator, especially on Lutheran doctrine, catechetics, homiletics, and the Christian life.
