M. L. Kellmer Pringle

Mia Lilly Kellmer Pringle (1920–1983) was a British psychologist renowned for her work in child development and welfare. She earned a first-class honours degree in psychology from Birkbeck College in 1944, qualified as an educational psychologist in 1945, and completed her PhD in 1950; in 1963, she became the first director of the National Children's Bureau, expanding it significantly and securing funding for key projects like the National Child Development Study.[1][4]
