M. I. Gurevich

Mikhail Iosifovich Gurevich was a prominent Soviet aircraft designer who co-founded the Mikoyan-Gurevich (MiG) military aviation bureau alongside Artem Mikoyan. He played a pivotal role in designing iconic Cold War jets such as the MiG-15, MiG-23, and MiG-25, earning the title of Hero of Socialist Labor and multiple State prizes. Gurevich was a Doctor of Technical Sciences and a key figure in advancing Soviet aviation technology throughout the 20th century.
