Lydia Millet
Lydia Millet (born December 5, 1968) is an acclaimed American novelist and short story writer known for her dark humor, stylistic versatility, and themes exploring human-animal relationships, extinction, and climate change. She earned degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, and has worked as an editor at the Center for Biological Diversity since 1999. Her works include the Pulitzer finalist *Love in Infant Monkeys* (2010), National Book Award finalist *A Children's Bible* (2020), and PEN-USA Award winner *My Happy Life* (2002).
